1. Shanmuganathan sworn in as Manipur Governor
Meghalaya Governor, V. Shanmuganathan, was sworn in as the 17th Governor of Manipur at a simple function at the Raj Bhavan .
Chief Justice of the Manipur High court Laxmi Kanta Mohapatra administered the oath of office.
Shanmuganathan has been given additional charge of Manipur after the demise of incumbent Syed Ahmed on Sunday.
Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh, his ministerial colleagues, senior civil and police officials were present.

2. India’s Gurpreet Singh wins silver medal at 2015 Asian Air Gun Championship
India’s ace shooter Gurpreet Singh has won silver medal at 2015 Asian Air Gun Championship held in New Delhi. In the finals of 10 metre Air Pistol event, Gurpreet shot a tally of 197.6 to stand second on the podium. India’s Jitu Rai finished at third position wining bronze medal in this event. The gold medal in the 10 metre Air Pistol event was bagged by Boroujeni Safari of Iran with a tally shot of 198.7. It should be noted that this fourth medal India has won in 2015 Asian Air Gun Championship. Earlier, Abhinav Bindra had clinched the gold in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle event while Ayonika Pual won the bronze in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle event.

3. NDTV signed 100 crore rupees deal with Taboola
NDTV Convergence, the digital wing of NDTV group, on 30 September 2015 signed a strategic deal with the US-based content recommendations engine Taboola worth around 100 crore rupees for 3 years. The deal is signed to boost the entire network of desktop and mobile sites of NDTV.
As per the agreement, Taboola will serve as the exclusive, multi-platform content discovery partner across all the sections of NDTV. Besides, Taboola will also provide advertisers with an option to target the premium NDTV audience through native content marketing. Both the companies will also work together to increase the user engagement.

4. Sportzlive appointed as official marketing partner for 2nd Indian Badminton League 2016
Sportzlive was on 30 September 2015 appointed as the official marketing partner for 2nd Indian Badminton League that is scheduled to be held from 2 January to 17 January 2016. Sportzlive's appointment was approved by the Badminton Association of India (BAI).
Sportzlive primarily focuses on investing and creating Sports Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in the Indian Sub-Continent. Indian Badminton League 2 will feature six franchisee teams across India who will beef up their teams with the very best Indian and International Badminton players. 

5. RCom in discussions to merge operations of SSTL with itself
eliance Communications is in discussions with Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd (SSTL), which provides telecom services under ‘MTS’ brand, to merge the latter’s Indian operations with itself.
RCom is also in looking to extend its strategic partnerships with industrialist Mukesh Ambani-controlled Reliance Jio Infocomm, which is gearing up to launch 4G services by December this year.
RCom, which holds spectrum in the 800–850 MHz band, is in advanced stages of discussions for nationwide trading and sharing arrangements with Reliance Jio Infocomm.

6. Housing.com to set up online platform for realtors body CREDAI
ealty portal Housing.com today signed an agreement with the realtors’ apex body The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) to set up an online platform that would help developers to engage with customers effectively.
Housing.com and CREDAI today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for an exclusive partnership for three years.
The objective of the MoU will be to improve the overall ecosystem and create a new age platform that will enable the developers to engage with the consumers in a focused manner.
CREDAI has over 11,500 developers as members in 154 city chapters across 24 states, while Housing.com, founded in 2012, is the country’s leading online real estate platform.

7. M.R. Poovamma and Babita Kumari conferred Arjuna Award 2015

M.R. Poovamma and Babita Kumari have been conferred with prestigious Arjuna Award 2015 for their individual achievements in sports. The award was presented to them by Union Minister of State (MoS) for Youth affairs and Sports Sarbananda Sonowal in New Delhi. M.R. Poovamma has been conferred with this award for her contributions in Athletics and Babita Kumari in the field of Wrestling.
