1. How many Posts are there?
Ans- 2200

Categories Wise Vacancies :
General : 1028 Posts
OBC : 590 Posts
SC : 351 Posts
ST : 231 Posts

2. What is minimum education qualification required to apply for job?
Ans- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.08.2016.

3. What is age limit to apply for the job?
Ans- 21 to 30 years (As on 01.04.2016)

4. What are the tentative Dates?
Ans-  Starting Date for Submission of Online Application : 04.05.2016
Last Date for Submission of Online Application : 24.05.2016
Last Date for Payment of Application Fees/Intimation Charges : 04.05.2016 to 24.05.2016
Date of Online Examination (Preliminary) : 2nd, 3rd, 9th & 10 July 2016

5. Is there be any interview after the Online exam result?
Yes, as per the notification the Interview and the Group Discussion will be conducted on 1st September. The ratio of Written Exam (250) and Interview (50) is 75:25

6. What is the application Fee?
Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Rs. 600 /- for all others

7. What is the Structure of the exam?
SBI has introduced some changes in the Mains exam. This will be the first time when the section will be locked for that particular time and students will have to wait before he proceeds.

8. Is there a sectional cut-off in the exam?
Yes, there is a sectional cut-off in the exam. You have to clear every section in order qualify for the Interview.

9. I have cleared the overall cutoff of the exam but not clear sectional cutoff, then I am eligible?
Unfortunately, you are not eligible to move to the interview stage. You must clear the cutoff for each section individually and the overall cutoff as well.

10. How many times one can appear for the Probationary Officer Exam?



11. Is there any sectional timings in Mains Exam.
Ans- Yes. There is sectional timing.
