SSC CHSL Tier-I exam Analysis-22nd January 2017 shift-2

Dear Readers, we are presenting Exam Analysis of SSC CHSL Tier-I exam conducted on 22nd January 2017 shift-2.

SSC CHSL examination for the first time is being conducted online. There are four sections in SSC CHSL Examination namely: Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, General Awareness and English Language. 

Now there are 25 question per section and each question carries 2 marks. Time limit for Online Examination is 75 minutes and for each wrong answer 0.50 mark will be deducted.

7th January 2017 to 9th January 2017 (in two slots)
10th January 2017 to 8th February 2017 (in three slots)

The General Intelligence Section is for 50 marks. According to the SSC CHSL 2017 Paper analysis, Covered topics are given below.

Number/Alphabet Series: 10Qs – Easy, (Popular topic. Simple and easy patterns to recognize)
Analogy: 2 Qs – Easy
Paper folding: 1 Qs – Easily solved. Required spatial acuity
Miscellaneous: 5-7 Qs – Easy to Moderate
Classification: 1-2 Qs – Easy
Matrix: 1 Q – simple and direct.
Blood Relations: 2-3 Qs – Easy
Verbal Reasoning: (Statements/Conclusions/Assumptions/Cause & Effect):0-1Qs -Moderate
Pattern Based Picture Diagram – 1-2 Q – Moderate
Logical Reasoning – 3 Qs – Though not direct, they remained simple to solve

The Mathematics Section is for 50 marks. According to the SSC CHSL 2017 Paper analysis, Covered topics are given below.

DI – 3 Qs – Easy. but Timeinsentive.
Coordinate Geometry – 2Qs – Easy to Moderate
Geometry – 2Qs – Moderate
Algebra -1-2 Qs- Moderate. - Moderate with a focus on calculation.
Trigonometry – 1-2 Qs – Easy to Moderate.
Mensuration – 2 Qs – Easy. Formula Based.
Profit & Loss – 1-2 Qs – Moderate.
Averages & Percentages – 2-3 Qs – Easy. Straightforward.
Distance & Speed – 2-3 Qs – Easy.
Miscellaneous – 8-12 Qs – Easy to Moderate
Difficulty Level- Easy/Moderate

#3. SSC CHSL Tier-I exam General Awareness- 25 Questions
The General Awareness Section is for 50 marks. According to the SSC CHSL 2017 Paper analysis, Covered topics are given below.

Geography: 2-3 Qs – Moderate
