How to crack IBPS Exams ?

Dear Readers, Through this post we are sharing some of the tips that help you in clearing IBPS and Other exams in 2 months time.

Lets Discuss Section wise for Better understanding.




1. Reasoning- In reasoning section Questions will be asked from analogy, syllogism, Decision making, coding, decoding, statement argument, statement and assumptions , puzzles, blood relation, series , statement and course of action in PO Exams.
In Clerk- It includes topics like Coding decoding, blood relation, syllogism, puzzle(seating type or circular arrangement), inequality, data sufficiency,  series.
In order to clear Reasoning section try to focus on puzzles, syllogism, inequality, coding decoding, data sufficiency as these parts always comes in Exam whether Po and Clerk. It covers 50% of the reasoning Section.
In case of PO some questions come from statement argument, statement and assumptions , statement and course of action also.

2. Quantitative Aptitude/Numerical Ability- Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Data Interpretation.
This section is very crucial as many students not able to crack this section specially those who donot have maths background.
Suggestion- To clear this section please go through atleast last 3 years previous papers and practice type of questions asked. By doing this you are able to score atleast passing marks in this section to clear the cutoffs.

3. English- Verb, preposition, adverb, subject verb agreement, Error Correction/ recognition, tenses, sentences rearrangement, fill in the blanks , comprehension, answering questions based on unseen passage, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms usage, vocabulary & grammar.
For this section I will suggest practice daily fill in the blanks, cloze test and comprehension more than other parts like error correction and sentence rearrangement if you are weak in english.

 4. General Awareness- It includes questions from
Banking Awareness - recent banking updates ,
News related with RBI and knowledge of banking terms .
In current Affairs topics covered are
 Recent appointments in India and World,
 Person in news,
persons died,
Awards and Honours,
Sports events,
Important books and author,
Important Days,
Capital and currency,
recent committees,
Abbreviations

For this section read current affairs on daily basis instead studying last 3 months in last week of exam.
To score good marks in this section read our material you will be easily able to attempt 30-35 questions.
Score in this section play crucial role to be a part of merit.

5.  Computer- It includes Topics like
Parts of Computer- Input -output devices, types of memory
Internet
Operating System
Application softwares especially MS Office- word, excel, powerpoint
Abbreviations, recent computer related news.
This section also provide chances to score good marks.

Every student has 2 hours and 200 questions (pre exam 100 questions and 1 hour). Do self assessment and find out which sections you need to work.

Tips for Pre- exam.
1. I recommend first go through all questions section wise like when you are going to attempt Reasoning see all 35 questions (as questions in slot of 5) and attempt those topics only that you have good command it help you to save time and reduce pressure on on.
2. Manage time properly as you need to clear all 3 sections and also qualify for the mains exams. Try to attempt atleast 45-50 questions with accuracy.
Time Management
Reasoning- 20 mins
Quantitative aptitude - 25 mins
English-15 mins
It may vary according to person to person.

Tips for attempting Exam- Mains Exam
We are sharing some preparation tips that help you in scoring good during exam.
1. Try to score maximum marks in ga and computers as it takes hardly 15-20 mins and you will  attempt 80 questions.2. Those students that are weak in particular section eg maths practice previous paper and go through the pattern of questions and method of solving those questions. It will help you qualify that section easily.
3. In Banking part questions ask are related with current banking news and basic banking terms.
4. To qualify English section starts practicing comprehension daily, cloze test, fill in the blanks especially those who are weak in English as these 3 parts contain 25 questions.
5. In reasoning, topics like inequality, syllogism, coding decoding , puzzle ask in every shift and forms almost 50% of reasoning section. So try to command those topics.
6. Manage Time Properly  as you need to qualify each section separately to clear the exam.
7. Analysis yourself what's your strength and weakness and plan accordingly. Your rrb scorecard also help you to judge your weak and strong section.

Time Management for Mains Exam
Reasoning- 35 mins
Quantitative aptitude - 45 mins
English-15 mins
General Awareness-15 mins
Computer- 10 mins
