Exam Pattern and Syllabus of ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS in United India Insurance Company



Selection Procedure:
According to New Notification there is no screening Test now. On 28 December Main exam will take place followed by Descriptive Test

A candidate shall be required to qualify in descriptive test, but the marks in descriptive paper shall not count for final selection. The finally qualified candidates will be called for interview upto three times the vacancies of the respective categories/discipline and final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the online objective test (main exam) and interview.
Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro second class rail fare/bus fare by the shortest route from the station of residence to the place of interview on production of evidence of having undertaken journey for interview purpose.
Please note- UIIC reserves the right to conduct Main exam directly without the screening test if the number of candidates applied is not high or for any other reason.





  ii and iii above, all the questions will be of objective type with alternative choices out of which one will be the correct answer. The candidate has to select the correct answer and „mouse click‟ that alternative which he/she feels is correct. There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked by the candidates (in both Screening Test and Main Exam). The objective tests except test on “English Language” will be bilingual (in English and Hindi). For each
wrong answer marked one fourth of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted from those obtained. The  alternative/option that is clicked on will be highlighted and will be treated as the answer to that question.



Syllabus

1. Reasoning-Questions will be asked from analogy, syllogism, Decision making, coding, decoding, statement argument, statement and assumptions , puzzles, blood relation, series , statement and course of action.

2. English- Verb, preposition, adverb, subject verb agreement, Error Correction/ recognition, tenses, sentences rearrangement, fill in the blanks , comprehension, answering questions based on unseen passage, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms usage, vocabulary & grammar

3. General Awareness- Questions in this section covers recent updates that are going around means appointments,person in news, sports events etc.. The test will also include the questions relating to India and its neighboring countries pertaining to history, culture. geography, economics, general polity, scientific research etc.

4. Quantitative Aptitude - Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Data Interpretation

Note :- For Specialist Post questions will be ask from relevant discipline. So Focus on the basic Concepts  of Respective Discipline of Finance, Automobile Engineering & Legal.
