The article ‘the’ is used before physical place (position) like ‘top’, ‘bottom’ etc. So, we say ‘the top’, ‘the bottom’. Now, it is clear that, the error is in part (a) of the given sentence. Here, ‘a top’ should be replaced with ‘the top’.

3). c
Replace ‘with’ with ‘about’.

“Not only ... but also” connects two words in same parts of speech. Therefore, if ‘not only’ is followed by a noun ‘but also’ is also followed by a noun. Similarly, they can be followed by two participles. In the given sentence, holding and rendering are two participles. As ‘but also’ is followed by ‘rendering’ so ‘not only’ must be followed by holding (participle). Therefore, ‘for holding not only’ should be substituted with ‘for not only holding’.

6). b
Replace ‘on’ with ‘out’

Add ‘is’ before ‘still’

8). a
Replace ‘adjusted’ with ‘applied’

10). c
Replace ‘collections’ with collection’
